  • does JB price match AmazonAU?

    • +5

I find JB price match is so dependent on the person serving you…

You might get blocked by them saying Amazon doesn't have any physical stores…Or you might get someone who doesn't give a shit and will do it for you.

the kirby game is hot trash not worth $10. don't waste your cash on it.

    • +3

my 6 yo son has played the demo ovr and over and over….tempted to get him the full game

    • +4

Kirby games are really easy. Good fun for the kids. It's not challenging enough for adults. That being said, I do like playing a bit of Kirby now and again. I dig up Planet Robobot whenever I take a flight somewhere.

      • +2

Its great for the kids - my 4yo's getting her gaming start as one of P2 - P4. As long as Kirby P1 doesn't die, the others are all good to mash around and have some fun. Being cute doesn't hurt it either

    • +2

Maybe because kirby games are generally aimed at kids, because of its cute characters should give you that impression and not for super intelligent adult like yourself..

      • +3

Did you just assume scorpweb was intelligent?! #triggered

        • Munki .. its a lil hard to write with sarcasm..

  • Just got a Switch, will probs grab Zelda BOTW as well to take advantage of the AMAZON20 code.

    • +4

      Get Mario Odyssey also

      • +2

        Don't forget Mario kart aswell!

  • oh man, just bought it this morning for $63.65 :(

    • where at? $5 difference

  • Can anyone find Zelda for under $60? Amazon have it for $65, that's the cheapest I've seen. I can't use the AMAZON20 code though.

    • To use the AMAZON20 code, you have to be a new user (just make a new account) and have a minimum spend of $79.

      • Well, I'm not spending over $79 either so I still can't use it.

    • Zelda is hard to find cheaper than $60, price from Amazon plus $20off is always the best. Games for switch are quite expensive and price drop rarely happens.

    • Just add something worth $15 like an amiibo or whatever and then use Amazon20. Gets you closer to $60 and you get an extra something else.

  • Enlighten me please
Princess Peach and Bowser Amiibo- are they just characters that you normally get, but now in their wedding dresses?
Or are they expansion packs or additional characters?

(Never played any Mario game before)

    • Bowser (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Bowser wedding outfit and reveals location of regional coins.
Mario (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Mario wedding outfit and grants temporary invincibility.
Peach (Wedding Outfit): Unlocks Peach wedding outfit and gives a Life-Up Heart.

      • thanks bud
given buy one get one free, is it worth $18

buying it for my son's birthday, and am hopelessly clueless :)

        • +1

If you're purchasing the Amiibo with Super Mario Odyssey, it actually works out cheaper.

          Mario Odyssey = $58.90
          Both Amiibo (BOGOF) = $17.95
          New user Discount code (AMAZON20) = -$20.00

          Total = $56.85

  • I regret not buying Switch last week when it was $375 last week… :(

    • I think it's $377.15 now at amazon au.

  • Thanks, I didnt really want to spend that money right now, but that was too good of a deal to turn it down. Now I have my complete Switch collection of Games that I wanted for now, I only got mine for my Birthday about a month a go, I've now got Zelda BOTW, Mario Kart 8, Mario vs Rabbids, Mario Odyssey, Rocket League, and Fortnite because its free… :) I don't think there is any other games I want atm :) Is there any amiibos that are worth getting for any of my games (aside from the two I got in the above deal)?

    • What about Splatoon 2?

As for Amiibo, I actually ended up making my own, as it worked out cheaper overall if you want multiple/all the Amiibo. Some Amiibo are "rare/limited" so unless you're willing to pay a hefty amount, good luck getting them.

All that's required to make Amiibo is a NFC enable phone and NFC Tags/Card (NTAG215). Tags are about $30 for 100 on Aliexpress, which is the bare minimum you need to make Amiibo.

      • How do you proceed to make the Amiibo?
