Google Wifi is a home Wi-Fi solution that works with your modem and internet provider so you can stream, download and share at home without missing a beat. Unlike traditional routers and range extenders, Google Wifi points give you both great speed and complete coverage of your home.

This price includes delivery for eBay Plus members. Remember to use Cash Rewards or Shopback for extra savings.

Bing Lee also has the Google Home and Home Mini, however I could not test the code out as I'd already used it.

These are great, i have had them for 6+ months are they cover my whole house and yard with zero problems at all.

    • Rather than looking it up myself, do you plug the line directly in? Or does it need to go through a modem/router first, then on to Google WiFi?

Googled it - needs line to the modem then onto Google WiFi

      • Line to Modem to Google Wifi (the google wifi is a router).

I bought these for my parents and I was surprised to find out that they can't be daisy chained via Wi-Fi. Which I thought was one of the benefits of the mesh system.

I connected modem to the first point and it was fine, connected the second point via Wi-Fi to the first one, it was fine too. But the third point was only close to the second point and Google Wi-Fi app complained about that and suggested moving it closer to the first point.

    • I believe it does daisy chain.
It's more to do about setting it up right in first place.
      e.g. ref: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/googlewifi/eKM7…

Short answer: preferred way of setting up is to put them all next to eachother. Then place them in your rooms. It does daisy chain, just doesn't like doing it for setting it up.

From google themselves in above forum:

"There's been quite a bit of chatter surrounding Google Wifi's mesh and how the mesh test works. To clarify, each new wifi point has to be in range of an existing connected Wifi point to be setup. This does not necessarily need to be the primary point, but whichever already connected point is closest. "

    • mine are daisy chained. first one is in the lounge connected to the modem, then spare room mid house and back room.

  • I received and set mine up today.

I really like the app. But there is one glaring omission: You cannot block specific web sites, ip addresses or domains in the router settings. This is the first router I've used that is missing the feature. Everything else I've had let you specify which web sites no one can access.

They have a way to block porn sites using Google Safe Search, but that's not what I'm looking for. I mainly want to block update servers, for example Apple, so that none of my iDevices can get automatic iOS updates and nag me to install them.

It's baffling how such a basic feature is missing.
