McDonalds currently has the small McOz meal for $5 between 10:30am and 2pm 'at participating restaurants'.

Well I've had it numerous times as a late night snack option with no problems through the app. Try re-installing the app maybe?

Well I've just tried a new addition to this burger and that is to add an egg! Costs $1 more and unfortunately isn't available in the app (so only 10:30 - 2:00). But wow it definitely makes it better!
You can actually do this anytime if you wanted to. Just select drive through when you make the order (without the egg) and when you get to the speaker ask to add an egg to it, they will charge the card you used an extra $1 (still all in the one transaction)
Seems to be available anytime with app. Tried it then 400 Bourke st Melbourne.
I am in QLD and I just checked my app, I have the option for the $5 meal so all QLDers rejoice.
Got the $5 mc Oz deal in Qld today ! Used self serve checkout I did hear a customer try and order it but the cashier said they only did the $5 double beef not bacon deal

nope
I mean that the offer shows that it only excludes Queensland so you should be able to access it for NSW and if they disagree the store should contact head office.
