1 Year 365 Day Anonymous, Logless, 4096 Bit, UnMetered - $4.99 AUD VPN – Port 443 – Sydney IP – Bitcoin/PayPal – @ PhillipDi

146

Hi All, I hope you are well.

I am offering a VPN service that is very security conscious

Security specifications:
4096 bit Diffie-Hellman key
4096 bit RSA key
AES-256-CBC
TLS Auth SHA256
DNS OpenNIC
All logs switched off
Port 443 UDP

Payment options:
Paypal/Credit Card
Bitcoin

Client download precautions:
The client is encrypted with a password or PGP key you sent us during the order, you are then emailed a link which will expire to the file.
In the case of PGP it will be signed with our key

Alternatives out there don't accept Bitcoin, or are opaque about the logs they keep, or in ExpressVPN's case, use a SHAMEFULL 1,024 bit RSA key, god knows what their DH key is…

        • @holdenmg: You have been posting "your side" without tagging me in it for quite some time (when you make a specific forum post about it….)

I appreciate you now have a basic concept of fairness and I am glad you now have a full refund.

        • @PJC: 99% of customers don't have an issue, not at all, you got a refund, I explained the situation, I apologised about the situation, now get over it.

        • +3

@phillipdi: Yet more repugnant bitterness and sarcasm aimed at one of OzBargain's earliest Members who paid you for something not received and did not prefer a refund.

        • +1

          @phillipdi:

99% of customers don't have an issue, not at all, …

Facts reveal you achieved 186 votes and 56 negs. Congratulations!

… you got a refund, I explained the situation, I apologised about the situation, now get over it.

You are confused. I did not get a refund because I purchased nothing and I have witnessed nothing resembling an apology.

  • +3

Despite warnings from others, I have previously taken the risk and purchased from Phillipdi.

I should have taken their advice as my item did not arrive.

Though I did receive a refund, it has been mine and others experience that when this happens Phillipdi is rude, dismissive and argumentative.

I would not recommend dealing with this retailer.

    • +1

Huh? Are you also Mod: Removed personal attack remark. like I am? First off, how does that have ANYTHING to do with this thread? Second, er … umm … it's the same Associated OP … posting on the same bargains website … rude, … dismissive and argumentative … yeah but no but yeah but no but yeah but no but yeah but don't you understand everybody is wrong unless they agree with OP? Besides, 435 words is very nearly 1,650 words obviously.

      • ahh no, I won't go and publish his communications but it was exactly 1650 words according to word mate…..
And an issue annother buyer had in annother post about an iPhone 6 who got a full refund has NOTHING TO DO with a VPN.

OR in your head they are….
Sure. Enjoy life with that attitude.

Don't buy a ford, someone had an issue with a ford and got a full refund once the horror

        • +3

… has NOTHING TO DO with a VPN.

Your propensity for combative interaction amply demonstrates how customer service will be handled. Each vacuous attempt to eviscerate me with a vituperative harangue provides another warning to prospective customers.

    • So you got a full refund right?
      For your complaint yea?

  • Bought this yesterday. Works flawlessly for watching on demand videos. Thanks OP.

    • -5

<3 thank you mate. Good to know haters the likes of @PJC can't dissuade genuine buyers :)

      • +3

        I merely asked …

OP has Member holdenmg's matter been resolved please?

… how was I to know you would respond so unprofessionally?

Oh yes, of course … I should have perused your OzBargain track record.

      • +2

        <3 thank you mate.

Wow. If only you had that attitude when a genuine buyer didn't receive their purchase.

        Signed,

        A former genuine buyer.

        • +1

What did you expect, an apology? I can't find this one …

I apologised about the situation, now get over it.

… anywhere. You should have sent an email of 435 words.

        • @PJC: 1650 words, you don't have the email and can't comment.
@xev you can annoint yourself as legitimate for sure but PM me your order number so I can see

        • +3

I stand corrected. You should have sent an email of 1,650 words.

        • +4

          @phillipdi:

…PM me your order number so I can see

That's not how this works. @xev is entitled to maintain his anonymity on this site.

You seem to imagine that provided customers obtain a refund then all is well. That's not how it works at all. You've taken up their time, and some may have acted in reliance on the contract that you breached.

And customers whose time you have wasted will 'get over it' when and if they're ready - not when you say.

But this post in about a VPN, and trust is critical with a VPN, and there's a trust issue with your operation. That is the basis of my negative vote to this deal - no price would be good enough.

        • @AngryChicken: sO first off, there is NO breach of contract… The contract specifically says that a refund is a remedy so perhaps you or the buyer should read a standard sale contract.

Also, saying that randoms can pretend to be a buyer and "maintain" their anonymity IS INSANE, you could create your account on 14/12/2017 shortly after I start posting as a competitor and slag my deals on commercial grounds and pretend to be a customer……………………………….
          O_O

          bye

        • +1

          @AngryChicken:
That order number would avail nothing because Member holdenmg …

… messaged the seller via OzB on 13/06/2018: "Hi, Just thought I would check in with you about Order #8300 placed and paid for on Jun 6 via PayPal. Hasn't shown up yet…"

… received from Associated OP 11 days later …

phillipdi on Sun, 24/06/2018 - 11:38 new … "Hi there what did you buy? What email are you quoting?"

… so what is the purpose of an Order No. that doesn't disclose what you got paid for 18 days earlier?

        • +1

          @phillipdi:
          Member AngryChicken is correct …

… may have acted in reliance on the contract that you breached.

… as confirmed by your blatant disregard of Member holdenmg's predicament …

As I have also bought a Belkin Case for this iPhone on 6 Jun. at 9:46 pm, I'm really rather reliant on your confirmation that dispatch occurred on the days you nominated or, failing this, that you will arrange today at your expense for courier delivery to my nominated address and further provide me with a Tracking number.

… and of course your empty reassurance …

          "phillipdi on Fri, 15/06/2018 - 16:51 … Worst case I got new stock coming Wednesday/Friday, I will re-send it out then :)"

… oh and congratulations on your 57th neg since November.

        • +3

          @phillipdi:

Yes, no technical breach, at least of the initial contract, but you explain that to everyone ordering your crap who never ends up getting it. You clearly are not in control of your own systems.

In any case it seems you've made subsequent commitments that you failed to meet in relation to getting new stock to them. All that means you're unreliable at best, and dishonest at worst. What happens if there's no follow-up initiated by the buyer? Do you refund? Or just keep the money?

"Pretend" to be a buyer? You wouldn't know, and you don't get to check. Who are you? The Stasi?

You're unreliable, you're not good to your word, your systems are flakey and you abuse anyone who complains. You'll get negged by me on that basis for every 'deal' you post from now on, and that's within the guidelines.

You're also quite foolish by engaging in these debates online in the way you're choosing to. People will Google you and they'll find all this, and then won't touch anything your selling, or refunding, or whatever. Time you completed a Marketing 101 course i think…

[189 words] - for your records.

        • @AngryChicken: And yet you have no actual clue, in the case of the iPhone 6s, I didn't make the post on ozbargain about it, some people PM'ed me and then I made it available, then someone posted it on here and it got flooded with orders from people and I didn't put the stock controls on it and I promptly messaged them about it and asked if they wanted a refund or to wait for stock.

You see the thing is, I do hundreds of phone sales with few going wrong, by saying I'm foolish for even replying too you is insulting yourself. TBH its a little bit fun engaging with the hilarious trolls on here, I just wonder how and why you have chosen to waste your live's this way and its hilarious for me

        • @phillipdi:

And yet you have no actual clue, …

We can be certain you lack one because …

… in the case of the iPhone 6s, …

… the entire matter concerned Unlocked Apple iPhone 6 which you posted, and not an iPhone 6s.

        • +1

@phillipdi: Joke is on you my friend, worse than the Bee Gees' song.

Negging due to store rep's belligerent attitude and abhorrent customer service.

        • @phillipdi: Congratulations on your 58th neg since November. More hilarity for you!

        • +2

          @phillipdi:

…I didn't put the stock controls on it…

Like i said, not in control of your own systems. You just waste peoples time by not doing that.

…by saying I'm foolish for even replying too you is insulting yourself.

What i said was qualified - i said "You're also quite foolish by engaging in these debates online in the way you're choosing to". I would never buy from you, and you may have the best product out there, because i can see that if there's a problem i'll need to deal with you, and i won't want to. No one with a clue will want to given your attitude.

There you go - more rope for you to hang your business cred with.

        • +1

@AngryChicken: Ah but we are reliably informed this is all hilarious for Associated OP. Obviously it is hilarious because somebody expected to get what they paid for as the order was still "processing" 17 days after payment.

  • +4

Have to neg because this guy seems delusional and nobody seems happy with previous deals. Everyone should read the comments from the other deals before buying anything from them.

    • I think I hear laughter …

TBH its a little bit fun engaging with the hilarious trolls on here, … and its hilarious for me

… and here's the funniest bit … when Member holdenmg said …

…can you update the Order Status from "Processing" to "Dispatched" and advise a Tracking Number for Order #8300.

… 17 days after payment you responded …

Im not aure if your aware but ozbargain isnt the contact us secion of our website…

… everybody laughed convulsively didn't we? Congratulations OP on your 59th neg since November.

    • "nobody", righhht, you do realise you have to scroll past @westjack who has actually purchased it off me to say that, and scroll past people who admit they never purchased anything from me right?

      • +1

What an intriguing attempt to inspire confidence in a prospective shopper.

      • +1

You just keep getting this wrong.

You may have the best product in the galaxy, but very few will buy this or anything else you're selling once they get a handle on who they're dealing with.

You're operating on no filter, and given the attitude you reveal that's business death.

Please provide contact details so my staff may invoice you.

      • I believe I hear more laughter …

TBH its a little bit fun engaging with the hilarious trolls on here, … and its hilarious for me

… when Member holdenmg said …

I didn't really want a refund as I had already bought a Belkin Case for the iPhone and given you are in Melbourne and already had my funds thought you could make contact with Apple or other suppliers.

        … your response was …

I appreciate you now have a basic concept of fairness and I am glad you now have a full refund.

… imagine that, he actually expected the phone, hahaha we all had a good laugh about that, didn't we OP?
