Hi, have a friend who will be in hospital for a while and wants a basic phone solely to Hotspot to a Mac laptop or iPad.
Phone needs to be from a bricks and mortar store (Coles, Woolies, JB, Harvey etc) so they can get in the next 2 days.
Hoping for under $50.
Any have pointers for best prepaid deal for I guess around 10gb+?

some hospitals have wifi too… was in one recently that had public wifi of 100Mbps !!!
Why not just buy a pocket wifi device instead? battery will last way longer.
