OZBARGAIN

South Australia produces 80% of Australia's premium wine production and here's a chance for a sub $8/btl bargain from James Halliday 5* producer and family vigneron, Geoff Hardy.

Wonderful South Australian Shiraz for just $89/doz PLUS Free Shipping.

This Export Label SA Shiraz 2017 is terrific! Don't take our word for it, here's what wine critic Sam Kim says of it when giving it 93pts:

"A deliciously expressed shiraz; the gorgeous bouquet shows dark fruit, cocoa, roasted hazelnut and warm spice aromas, leading to a sumptuous palate that is richly fruited and generously weighted. The wine is youthful yet immediately appealing with its succulent fruit intensity and velvety texture. At its best: now to 2024."

Free shipping on this and twelve other wines using the code OZBARGAIN.

The Export Cab Sav (not Adelaide Hills) is "an absolute steal at less than $100!" according to its description but is selling for $119…?

    • haha. It's a steal at $99. Just less of a steal at $119 but a steal none the less. Cheers RD :-)

  • Has anyone actually paid $240 for the 2017 Shiraz. Opened a bottle and its ok but not what I was expecting for a $20 bottle of shiraz. Noticed the cork was barely stained. If it should be stored for a while - how long.

    • HI Davro. On of the beauties of wine is its subjectivity. Absolutely, people of course pay $20/btl - those who don't want to buy by the 12pks. The guidance from wine critics is always a good independent guide as to drinkability. In this case, Sam KIm/Wine Orbit says to drink from now until 2024. That sounds about right to me.

      • Is any of your red the heavy bodied red that McLaren Vale is noted for?

        • I'd say so and judging by external awards and accolades I'd very much say that the wine media and show circuit does too:

Export Label McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016
Export Label Adelaide Hills Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (Granted it's the Hills but it is fuller bodied)

          At www.winesbygeoffhardy.com.au
          Pertaringa 'Undercover' Shiraz 2016
          Pertaringa 'Understudy' Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Pertaringa 'Over The Top' Shiraz 2016
Pertaringa 'Rifle & Hunt' Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
          Pertaringa 'Yeoman' 2016
Pertaringa 'Tipsy Hill' Single Vineyard McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Pertaringa 'Regional Series' McLaren Vale Shiraz 2016

          Hope that helps.
