I have been after this portable carpet cleaner for a while and almost pulled the trigger during the House 25% off (was about $97). This is the cheapest I have seen it.

$125 - $149 elsewhere (TGG, House, Bing Lee, HN)

Probably not as powerful as the Bissell SpotClean but it doesn't need to be plugged in, which I believe is a big plus. Hope this helps someone.

    Not really - there's no steam from this thing. It sprays out pre mixed carpet cleaning solution from a clean water tank, then sucks it up into another dirty water tank, keeping the clean water separate to the dirty water. It also has firm bristles to help scrub carpet. Not saying a steam mop and wet vac wouldn't work or be better, but as far as I know there are no portable steam mops + wet vac units on the market…?
