    Yep, the Jim beam 1125ml is excluding Vic as it's $0.10 cheaper here, $42.80. :)

    Picked up a case of Coronas from BWS(Crows Nest) last night for $22.50.

      And also WOW I cannot believe the price of premix. 10 cans of JD + Coke for almost $30 is a bloody rip.. I thought Kruddy boys tax would have ended by now.

    Corona is at $44 at BWS in SA. Not significantly cheaper but good if BWS is closer to you.

      Corona is 42.40 in Sydney BWS.

      Dry Dock is also cheaper at BWS, but not by much.

    Is the JimBeam White Label Bourbon a good deal at $42.80? I normally buy the Black label so I dont know how the white label is compared to the black label. I mainly use JB as a mixer.

      As a mixer I reckon JB white is "good enough". If you drink it straight you'd definitely want Black.
      The price is very good though - cheaper than I've seen anywhere else for a long time now.

      its an okay price but still quite expensive for white label..

      I rather just buy 700ml of McKenna which is a million times better and can be enjoyed straight or on the rocks for like $32.

        How do u rate the McKenna to Jack Daniels and Buffalo Trace? I'm just starting out so your thoughts is much appreciated.

          Its better than Jack Daniels and I've only tried Buffalo Trace once but it was very nice indeed. If you want a really good bourbon then get makers mark it is about 40-$45. But the McKenna is the best bourbon you can get for around $30 and its really smooth.

    Nice, if you are in QLD price match from 1st Choice as they are donating all profits to 30/1 to the flood appeal.

    I haven't been able to find the original media release online (copy here http://www.brewsnews.com.au/2011/01/1st-choice-donates-queen… but I have heard it from several sources.

    I called up 1st Choice and they won't price match Dan Murphy's on the Beam because they only offer 1L and not 1.125L bottles. :/

    So a bit dodgy behaviour from 1stC and it looks like I'll be going to DM instead.

        It's the same product, just in a slightly smaller bottle. They could easily match the price per liter if they wanted to.

    dan murphys your rekordelig ciders are overpriced it had a sticker saying 3 for $18 but they are $5.90 a bottle normal price.. i tried it though and wasnt very impressed. i dont mind spending that sort of money on good cider as a treat but i think ill stick to cheaper stuff for my everyday drink.
