      Does anything work with Myki?

        Not much. That's why I asked…

  • Oyster Card, travel payment card in London similar to Opel card in Syd. Can be used for purchases in a lot of retail shops too. I’d like to say similar to Myki too but is so below par…

    Bought these from Zapals. Failed!

Tried with RFID card & didn't stop being read. Noticed no difference in distance before card was read.

Tried with Translink readers (same hardware as London Oyster card readers - used in SE QLD) - didn't stop card being read.

Up there with "solar mini torch" bought from Zapals which was wired to a button battery. Fake solar panel was only for show.

    • There are reviews in ebay which say these sleeves are blocking paypass.

      • Not in my experience with this product from Zapals!

But do these block band 28 ?

  • 2 cards or more in a wallet scrambles the reader.

Lol, anyone ever heard of getting their contactless card fraudulently swiped? The UK payments association spent $300k trying to build something to do this from far enough away that it would not be obvious and it took something the size of a shopping trolley. There are far easy ways for fraudsters to steal your money. And it's certainly not possible to steal your identity from it lol.

    • Probably more use when you have multiple cards and want to tap and go without taking it out of your wallet. Block all the ones you don't want to accidentally use.

Nope. It has been proven that RFID theft is bullshit and was nothing more than an unfounded claim from some worried people without any technical knowledge when it first rolled out. Save your money and don't buy this shit at all.

I use Korjo CC Defender sleeves and they work. Tested at several locations.

    • Yes I bought the Korjo ones and they work.

Seriously why do people bother with these blocker things. If someone does steal info, which is very unlikely, you report it to your bank/credit company and they close the card and refund the fraudulent transactions. I’ve seen these things being flogged on morning tv infomercials. I hate to think how many elderly or non tech savvy people got sucked into buying them.
