Unsure, but normally it’s a 7 piece set that I’ve seen posted here and what I bought in the past. On memory on a good day the 7 piece set can be around $260 - $280ish if memory serves me?
Not sure why you would need 6 knives. 4 is more than enough.

I have one of them at home from a couple of years ago.
I think the RRP for the 4 knife block is crazy.

They have a few different sets, the 6 knife ones are the most common.
It comes with an ancient Japanese scroll with a quest on it to find the sixth blade.
I think this is a good size kit with everything you need, except maybe shears.
I recently bought this set from a different seller because I didn't really need the extra two knives, the 4 knives in this set cover the essentials.
One thing to note is that mine came with an 11cm utility knife instead of the 8cm paring knife that was listed in the item description. Not a huge difference either way, but thought I should point it out as it's possible others may have the same thing happen.

How's the rust though. That's all i can read about online.
I have had Global knives for over 5 years and I've never seen rust on them.
I wash & dry them after use as per the instructions. I wonder if the people getting rust spots are leaving them wet, putting them in a dishwasher, or otherwise mistreating them?

We have had these knives for a little while now. They are a great set, very well balanced and cuts well.
Just keep in mind that you got to clean these and dry them immediately after, because they do develop surface rust spots if left with water droplets on them. Other than that, these are awesome.
They aren't bad knives, but they are notorious for developing rust spots even if taken care of well (i.e. wash by hand, dry straight away). This may happen in weeks, may happen in months - but happens pretty much globally (hawhaw).
These are excellent knives. Cuts like a charm and worth every cent and best price.

Thanks OP, was thinking about the 7 piece set, but I probably wont use the other two, the 4 is perfect.
Almost bought, but then you google it and almost every less than perfect review complains about rust spots.
