Regarded as one of the best headphones for under $50.
Amazon reviews reflect this. Just thought i'd share before the end of the month, in case anyone is looking for a decent headset.

how much are they normally or is this the usual price?
This seems to be the average price. can be purchased locally for a few dollars more.
https://www.belfieldmusic.com.au/samson-sr850-professional-s…So not much of a deal, i know. But its still the cheapest I could find from a reputable seller.
how do these compare to the superlux HD681?
I'm not too sure. But they look like they come out of the same factory.
They are made by Superlux and have the same drivers as HD668B apparently. Absolutely LOVE the Superlux HD668Bs, best headphones I've owned.
Ooh. A model naming convention not too dissimilar to Sennheiser's.
$92.65 from amazon Australia.. lol
This is what we have to look forward to from the start of next monthhttps://www.amazon.com.au/Samson-SR850-Professional-Referenc…
Hmm.. a brand that can be mistaken for the #1 electronics manufacturer in the world. And a design strikingly similar to AKG.
Only in China I guess?
Samson is a 30 year old US company.
What are they known for making?
Google would be a sensible starting point.
@jackspratt: If Google are the only one that knows, then they can't be very relevant.
Takstar HI2050 still beats this imo.
The Takstar are very good indeed. But they are a 60 Ohm impedance vs 32 for these. So they do need more power to drive them. Sound awesome with a nice amp.

I've bought two pairs from this seller and can confirm they're genuine (also have a pair from JB to compare to). Why yes, I am a fan of these headphones.
Did I need them,no. Did I buy them,yes.
Sorry to anyone like me that has many headphones already, but still buys these.
