    Disregard if you wish, but why would you consider extended warranty on a sub 1k TV? These things so rarely break down. Even if it was to break down in 3 years, you'd be able to get the equivalent for peanuts.

    Note: The profit margin on TVs is all but non-existent. Salesman make money from extended warranties(especially) and cables(inflated price)… don't be fooled.
