Looking to invest 50-60k in Term/Fixed Deposit which I may need after 6months or even after an year.
Which is recommended one? and any fees for quiting it before term?

TBH just go variable with online saver. Highly unlikely we will get a rate drop, and even if we do, it'll be $100 odd you lost over 6 months boohoo.
At least you can pull your money anytime….unless of course you found a fantastic fixed rate deal going near 3%.
Use rams or ubank and just meet the minimum monthly deposit terms. Rate is usually at least as good as the best term deposit and is at call.

From memory you'll get around 2.85%pa for a 9-month term.
