    Just note the SIM card has a 12 month mininum contract (Min Cost $264)

      • Confirming the cashback applies for month-month ones too! The only exclusion is outright purchases (so e.g. handsets without subscription package)

    • Hey doweyy, I got confirmation from SP that as long as you pass their credit check at the onset you will get your cashback approved. Just don't do anything fraudy afterwards (like purchase, cancel, purchase cancel multiple times)

      Just take note that the cashback is on your first month amount (e.g. if you bought the 12 month $50 plan, you will get $50*2 cashback = $100)

      Yes.. for example.. Buy the $50 Sim for $50 and you'll get $100 Cashback

      I think the idea is that it's a 12 month contract and you get two free months with the cashback. You are still paying.

      Thanks..Yeah agree.. I got response one my one query that it's applicable to all the plans but there are more doubts and queries so I have also requested reps if they can come to this post to address our queries so we all will be confident on terms and spendings

    Hi guys, addressing all your questions here:

    • Cashback is available for anyone who passes Southern Phones' credit check (must be 18+, no fraudulent activity, and acceptable credit score)
    • You will receive cashback on the price of the plan you selected for 1 month only (e.g. 12 month $50 plan, you will get cashback on the $50, not $600)
    • This means that you WILL get cashback on handset SUBSCRIPTIONS too
    • Cashback, however, is NOT applicable on outright purchases, i.e. handsets that do not come with subscriptions

    Examples:

    • Purchase the 12month $9.90 monthly plan. Your cashback = $9.90 * 2
    • Purchase the Green 50 $50 plan. Your cashback = $50 *2
    • Purchase the Samsung Galaxy S9 64GB subscription plan worth $74/month. Your cashback = $74 * 2
    • Purchase the Samsung Galaxy S9 64GB handset. Your cashback = $0

    Caveat is you need to pass their credit check! So don't do anything fraudy :)

      What do you mean pass their credit check? That's pretty vague, they can always fail your credit check for no reason. It's pretty deceptive that they will take your money still, even though you don't pass the credit check and so no cash back! It would be only fair if you don't pass the credit check then you don't get the plan and get a refund.

    • Cashback is paid on all products linked to a monthly fee (home internet, mobile broadband), and not just mobile sim plans.

  • I was going to signup for a plan but the reviews below makes me wonder why a company is paying someone (200%) to signup for plans when the company cannot cope with existing customer support.

    Here's my progress so far:

    • Signed up on the $50 month-to-month plan last week.
    • Got approval for credit check.
    • Cashback shows up as pending.
    • Received SIM card the other day.
    • Activated SIM card today (which seems to be successful).
    • Registered an account.

    At no point in time was I asked to make a payment. Is this supposed to be post paid? When will the cashback be approved?

    Also, when you create an account, it has to be manually approved and your password is stored as plain text so beware.
