MSY are having a mid year sale.

Graphics card prices seem to finally be on the decline - the GTX 1050 TI especially is a really good price at $219 if you're looking to put together a budget to mid range system - cheapest I could find elsewhere was around $249. The GTX 1070 Ti is also on special at $649 - for comparisons sake you'll pay $749 for the exact same card at MWave. If you can put up with the usual cheery MSY customer service the prices are pretty decent.

      There's been a GPU shortage since then and 1050tis have only just come down from around $300

      Razer have excellent build quality, you pay a premium because it's a gaming brand but it's a worthwhile investment.

        You can get better quality boards for less. The masterkeys pro s is a much better keyboard and cheaper. Razer is overpriced

          There are a lot of boards that are better for similar prices. iKBC f108 is my personal recommendation

      imo the newer razer stuff quality aren't as good as they were before. I had razer blackwidow chroma x rust one me and deathadder chroma mouse side rubber peeling off (first one got replaced under warranty and second one I just glue it back). Bought both at MSY, managed to get the chroma x refund for store credit at got a corsair keyboard instead and the superglued grip on deathadder seem to work fine.

        apple build quality is better. Razer quality used to be terrible but they're much better now.
        Naga and deathadders still creaky though.

    All those people who bought up GPU's to mine bitcoin, reality has sunk in hard, so many mining rigs for sale now. These are finally some normal prices for hardware.

      Tell me about it! I wanted to setup an Internet Cafe in Sydney but my business fell through after I couldn't acquire any GFX cards.

      Luckily I invested in crypto a few years ago so now I've retired off my earnings

      FYI. The latest rumor is that on the 30th of July the new 1170 (or whatever is called) will be out with the performance of the 1080ti.

        Thanks for the info, I'm upgrading a video editing rig, I'll build it around my old 780gtx and wait for these and upgrade, maybe even getter a bargain 10xx series when these drop.

        fwiw the nvidia CEO has also come out in the past couple of days and said that there will be no new gaming cards anytime soon, which muddies the water a little bit

    I was going to hold off upgrading my GPU until I got into some newer games. It’s been quite a while between drinks for me. Only just finishing Skyrim and about to start Assasins Creed series. Wasn’t going to upgrade until maybe Nov-Dec…I have a HD4850 that is coping still. The price of the 1050Ti is really good tho. Hold off or grab one even though I won’t be onto more taxing games till end of year? And even then probably only Fallout 4, Far Cary 3 ect…

    With the increased difficulty in GPU Coin mining, less and less people are doing mining. The difficulty will only increase with time, so we just have to play the waiting game and we might eventually see prices lower than last year bottomline.

    PS: I recently bought a 2nd hand 3 month old gtx1080 at 620AUD, not bad of a bargain xD
