I've had mine for over a year now and always use silicon-based lube. No degradation so far.
So its free. I filled out the form thinking it was Lube for zips on my tents and jackets. Is it a sign of age that i was disappointed when i found out what it was?
Talcum powder or graphite works well too … for zips that is.
