Cancel Club Catch?

I signed up for club catch on may to take advantage of a switch deal. Now it seems the only way to cancel is to contact their customer service team who will then forward it to their club catch team. This customer service team also has no idea how long it take for the club catch team to get back to me.

I also just checked the club catch website and it seems there's a minimum 3 months subscription. I didn't notice this when I signed up for club catch. Does anyone know how long this minimum 3 months condition has been in place?

    That sounds pretty dodgey! They must have a lot of cancellations waiting in line!
    Given that cancellation is by email, then you could perhaps send them an email at least a month in advance of the final billing with the effective date you want to terminate your membership, followed by one just before the billing. If they continue to charge, then you have a clear case to dispute the costs.

    • I agree… it's completely dodgy and I won't be signing up with club catch again.

    • They have automatically renewed me without my permission. Is that even allowed? There is nowhere on their website to unsubscribe and have to call them. Super dodgy.

    • I also cancelled as soon as I realised they wanted $6+ a month. Even though they senr emails acknowledging that I was cancelled, they still billed my credit card. Now in dispute with bank.

    When did you sign up? I just live chatted them and told them terms changed after I signed up and that I wanted to cancel, 5 mins later it was cancelled and they didn't enforce the 3 month rule. I'd advise to do the same.

    • Hi, I live chatted them today. And I signed up on May 11th! Lucky you got yours cancelled, the person who live chatted me just kept repeating over and over that they would contact club catch :(

      • The person I was speaking to said they'd contact club catch also, and they're the ones who cancelled it :) If they fight back, just say you didn't sign up to those terms.

  • Download the app and cancel it in there. There is no other way I know to do it without contacting their support.

      I just tried to cancel it within their app and it's the same as their site. Still have to submit a request or email them.

  • Emailed their support and had it cancelled in 1 day. Unfortunately, I think the 1 month —> 3 month change is recent (Around 21st May~)

  • Yep watch out for the so called 'free' membership. They will ding your card and continue to do so.
    Phones not available and emailing has had no effect.

    • I've sent through to cancel. If they ding my card I'll be disputing it which will cost them more.
