Had no idea Ticketmaster was even a partner.

they're not - what can you buy for $0.20 ??

  • Are there any tickets that are less than $7?

    • +15

Is the booking fee less than $7?

      • Most often $6.95, so technically yes :P. I have however paid up to $9.95 in booking fees as well

  • +2

why would ticketmaster need to do this, you cant buy tickets to the "event" that you want to got to anywhere else.

    • +2

To try and bring in new customers who might not have gone to the event in the first place I'm guessing

To appease those of us that wonder why there is a $6-$10 handling fee, only for us to print out the tickets ourselves. :)

      • +2

        Yea that fee is crazy.
I don’t see it as any different to the banks charging asome of there ridiculous fees.
They are making money off there ticket sales, albeit likely small amount. Then bump it with the handling fee

    • Sometimes events are sold in multiple places including ticketmaster

Might just cover the cost to print my own tickets at home…

    • +2

That's what I was thinking. Need to pay them to use my printer and ink. Makes sense right?

  • How long is this for?

    • Just today

Can get ticketmaster gift cards at Woollies, pay with egift card for 5% off

  • Problem is when you are stressing about buying tickets, the last thing you think about is the cashback.

  • +1

Good. A 20 cent cashback on a $250 ticket was an insult.

    • Tell me about it.

  • anyone know if this includes telstra thanks $20 afl ticket offer? it's done on telstra site but redirects to ticketmaster

    • Hi Smity. No, because you need to click out from Cashrewards directly to Ticketmaster. If you click out from Telstra, the tracking cookie is lost and the sale won't be attributed to Cashrewards.

      • Worked for me

  • Does anyone know how Ticketmaster's (and other ticketing platforms) fees work for artists/organisers? Or do they just reap the fees from the end user, and charge the organisers nothing?

    • I would seriously doubt that, but it would be interesting to know.

Doesn’t really answer your question but a really interesting podcast on ticket pricing and why all the tickets to the best shows sell out before they are released.
