I agree. I hope the Sony one comes down in price soon, as I expect it has better sound quality. I find the GH very "boomy", with too much bass and lacking treble (even with equaliser set to minimum bass and max treble).
How much is Sony one?
Cheapest I can find around the place is $160 odd so far
Agree. You can adjust the speaker setting but I also found adjusting my Google music equaliser (or even just turning it off) fixed this.
Its getting some nifty updates soon so might be worth it later. I value the device at $99, wouldn't pay more.
I rather get one with a screen.
It will more useful.
I have one and have to say that the sound quality is very good for the price. I paid $148
I loved that $99 Australian Geographic deal
Except they failed to honour it and refunded most people
I just got it price matches at DJ so I could get it after work
Just remember that you're the product. not the device. Everything you say is recorded and sold to big data.
Agreed, I'm so wary of devices like this, especially after stories like

It's a computer … it has a microphone … it's connected to the internet,
what more do you want to know about it ?
Facebook, cambridge analytica…
Just the tip of the iceberg compared to what google has on you.
I bought it bit confused no real plans but now it's the best thing I have ever bought smart glob it will turn the light on anyway buy one there great.
I'm not sure Allphones are an authorised distributor, so local warranty would likely only be through allphones who then pass it onto Google.
They don't have the national presence Google require to be an authorised distributor based on their store count and aren't listed as an Authorised distributor. edit: NB: The list of authorised distributors is around 2months old that I am looking at that came from Google AU.
It's a good price, but not the best out there for GH at the moment. Plenty of other non-authorised distributors running around the $130-$135 mark and with pull5, cheaper than this.
Can this eBay code be used multiple times, or at least for multiple items from one seller?
You can use it on a cart (add multiple items to cart)
I'll hold off on these until they're free.
Yeah, that comment was totally worth anonymous negative votes.
It's not like Google will be so keen to get into our homes in future that they'll give these away after selling them to the beta testers whom are willing to pay for them.
As much as I like this, and want another one, I don't think these are worth over $99. I'll be waiting for Thanksgiving
