Just checked out this stand mixer on Aldi special buys and thought to share the post.
Have read reviews (US) about ALDI's stand mixers there which people have compared favorably against the likes of KitchenAid.

I Bought one of the Old Kuchef stand mixers from Aldi which is still going strong.

tldr: people are a$$holes and when the doors open, they rush into the store via the checkouts despite initially lining up. Being near the front of the line doesn't guarantee you'll get something.
23/05 & 26/05 - Is it on sale now? Or only on the 23rd and 26th of May?
I puchased one of these yesterday and made 2 cakes last night with it. It was great. I will use it for the next week making a variety of different things before I make my final decision on how it goes. So far so good. It is heavy, has suction cups on the bottom to prevent slipping, and looks nice in the kitchen. I purchased the white one which has a while pearlised finish. The good thing I find with Aldi is if after purchasing it you can take it back if you are not happy for a full refund. The think I loved is it also comes with a dough hook which I'm going to put to the test making bread this weekend.

Hot tip: If there is a line, make sure you enter the shop via checkout line and not through the proper entrance ;)
Do you have keep on scraping as the dough/hook/whatever doesnt reach all parts of the bowl? (As per reviews of other cheap mixers..)?
I want to mainly use for cake icing (peak'ing) and Dough making
@joshka what was your experience making dough in the Aldi Mixer? And did you make the icing/whipping as well?
I think it is available between the 23/05/2018 to the 26/05/2018, so it should be available today. I could be wrong though.
Can we see the review you read? Having used Aldi exclusives before quality can vary heavily. I wouldn't consider this a deal unless it was a rebranding.
