Yes, there are much 'nicer' tasting protein bars on the market, but they are NOT helping you maintain/lose weight. As an endomorph (holds more fat/puts muscle on easier - usually of European descent) with fairly poor insulin sensitivity, unless I am doing a very heavy legs day at gym, I have to be very careful with my carb intake. At 6'1", 92kg 11%bf, I have to limit myself to 50gm low gycaemic carbs for maintenance purposes (ecto/endomorphs can consume upwards of 200gm) on weight training days and as little as possible on rest/cardio/fasting days. These bars fit the bill perfectly.
Probably the best valued high protein/low carb bar on the market. 40gm of protein for $3 in a quickly consumed bar is decent - filling too. I have one every night with cold almond milk as my dessert.
PS. The chocolate is pretty gross but the cookies & cream is decent.
EDIT: Online orders have MAX of qty: 8 per flavour. I just went instore an purchased the 10 they had then got them to order in 40 more which will arrive tomorrow. So head instore if you're after more then 8.
