      I have the other model, shows more than 2C on both of them, no way to calibrate..

      Pretty accurate. I got it sitting next to my reverse duct cycle remote. When it reached the room temperature and meter shown exactly the temperature I set too.

    This Xiaomi smart thermostat not only can use in bluetooth,it also can connect with wifi via Xiaomi desk lamp or Mijia smart home multifunctional gateway,even Xiaomi 4k camera(all the Xiaomi smart home devices with bluetooth and wifi gateway)

    Mean you can monitoring your house temperature via Mijia home app,even you not at home,not only for bluetooth.

      I didn't think the multifunction gateway hub had bluetooth?

      I looked in the add child device list and couldn't see it there. Mine is the one with the fox looking symbol on it.

      It can work by oneself via bluetooth

      But it also can works with wifi via any Xiaomi smart home devices,for example : Xiaomi home gateway,or Xiaomi dask lamp.

    I have some of these - seem to perform well although haven't been able to validate the temperature. If they are bad they seem consistently bad - I put two side by side and they have tracked each other pretty closely. However, note that I haven't been able to get historical information from the mi home app. A couple of posts on the web suggested that you needed the home gateway or other wifi smart home device to get this.

    Bought ended up as $14.45 AUD before I realised I had actually bought it. Was waiting for the page to add a coupon or change the currency.

      I suppose you can use this to monitor temps when you are away to ensure any elderly family members and/or pets are not in an overheated environment (using a gateway that connects to the local network). Also, might be a good way to set up IFTT tasks e.g. if temp reads >30c, trigger turning on the fan/AC unit. However, for that a regular temp sensor might work better hooked up to a arduino+esp8266+sensors (or rasp pi + sensors).
