      hmmn good reviews yes
      
      but plastic top instead of glass chamber
      which means possible discolouration if I try to blend spices to make a curry- but should have no issues with smoothies etc
      
      From past experience no many times I wash it, the next smoothie will have a spicy aftertaste :)
      
      also FAQS- our standmixers and platinum blenders are assembled in the USA
      
      Can't find where the diamond blender is assembled :)
