    Nice little deal, I'll probably use this. Thanks!

    Also, this is incorrect: Super Smash Bros Brawl (PS3) just $29.99
    It's a Wii game.

      if it was a ps3 game i would buy it :D

        I too would be all over it! :D

  • Bought GT-5 as well like 10 minutes before you posted this deal :D

  • Is the pricing on the website in Aus dollars or UK?

    • +1

      Australian Dollars. They are run by 365games.co.uk (you will see the site is almost identical, save for the colour scheme), but they made a site with currency already converted.

    • Aus dollars

  • $35.99 for need for speed hot pursuit (ps3).. not bad

      Correct me if I'm wrong but it's listed as $40.99 on the site and you need to spend $50 to get the $5 discount.

      • Yup, minimum spend is $50. Boooo :(

      • Hmm you're right.. my bad.
        Still, $40.99 isn't too bad considering $48 was considered a bargain just a couple of weeks ago.

          it was $39 last year@Dickismith if you know a Woolies staff.

        • Sure was FM, been playing it all week thanks to time off haha

  • Also, Uncharted 3 pre-order for $60…
    very good price…

    • I cant wait for that game.

    Picked up Red Dead Redemption and COD:WOW for $60 total. Happy with that.

    Was going to snap up AC:Brotherhood for $53 ($58-5) but just can't bring myself to pay over $50 for a game, no matter how much I want/need/desire/desperately-need-to-hold it.

      Same here. Used to spend up to like $80 on console games back in the day when shopping online wasn't common but it's just too much now considering how many awesome games you can buy online for $25 and under these days. The fact that Steam sales always end up having games on sale for ridiculously low prices has also affected my perception, even if we're talking about a completely different platform here. Games are games. I'll spend up to $50 max these days but it's mainly when they're $35 and under that they grab my interest.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but are these UK games?, which will work fine here, but online play may be impacted?

    • +1

      Only sometimes with games that are region specific as to where you would connect online, also with buying off the PSN Store for DLC Content. Most games would be fine though.

      Also would be to smart as to what version you are getting, they sometimes give NTSC instead of PAL although that wouldnt change much.

      • Some people have reported having problems buying DLC for cross region games, but that's supposed to be fairly rare. I think people had problems buying DLC for Bioshock 2 in oz. Mind you, game patches/updates will work fine regardless of DLC issues.

        On online play, games are either played via P2P, or with dedicated servers. With P2P games like Halo Reach, it doesn't matter where you buy the game, it'll connect you to local players. You should probably buy server based games from Australia, otherwise your online experience will be lagtastic, eg. my import copy of Demon's Souls sucks for online play.

        I struggle to find which games are P2P or server based though. Does anyone know a site that lists this info?

      UK = PAL
      AUS = PAL

      UK games are literally the exact same half the time (the disc at least).
