How to Contact Scoopon Team?

Hi there,

I have been trying to contact scoopon in any possible way and it seems like they just ignore emails, facebook messages (discussion board). I asked a question 3 days ago on facebook forum and then they just removed my message. i posted again but no reply. is there any other way to contact them?? I bought a scoopon, i already booked it with the hotel but need to bring the voucher with me and its only 5 days left. has anyone experienced trouble with contacting scoopon before?
its very convenient for them not to provide the phone number but soooo annoying for the customers.

  • I sent an email to complain about a deal a few weeks back. I got an initial response after a week saying someone would get back to me, but they never did.

  • What's your problem? You simply login to your scoopon account, then download and print the voucher.

  • my problem is that i cant log in as i forgot the password. too many passwords to remember… and i tried to reset the password like 10 times and still havent received ANY email with the new password.

    They DONT answer e-mails.

      Hmm, perhaps your email provider is putting them in your SPAM folder or possibly blocking them?

    • Yep, just tried it. Clicked Forgot Password and immediately got an email. Sounds like an email problem on your side.

      EDIT: Try contacting them through a different email account.

  • ok but cant even change the email address now. I checked my email settings and antispam is OFF so every email should come through. Don't know what to do…

    • Did you sign up with a fake email address? Do you have copies of ANY prior emails from them (if so, check what address they sent it to)

  • I didnt sign up with fake email address. No copies of any emails from them :( I just dont understand why instead of replying to my facebook post they just deleted it. and now im trying to contact scoopon rep through ozbargain. Unbelievable is how difficult is to contact the team of a company that deals with their clients ONLINE only…

    • The issue, it seems, is your email is blocked and you need to contact them with a different email address. It doesn't matter how many emails you send them if their responses are never being received by you. So create a gmail account [email protected] or something and send them an email.

      While this may be speculation, if you mentioned personal information on their FB page, that might be the reason they deleted it.

      • i just opened a new gmail account and sent them an email.will see what happens..

  • which isp and what type of email were you using?

    • TPG and polish email account - i have never had any problems with. (many years)

      • It can happen. My main email address is at AOL and a couple of months any emails I sent to bigpond.com/bigpond.com.au were blocked. No explanation. It's unblocked now but it may be that Bigpond or Scoopon in this case uses some kinds of email blacklist.

  • I've had problems with a cleaning deal on Zoupon so I feel your pain. There's nothing more annoying than dealing with ONLINE only companies if their only contact method is online. Lift your game, Scoopon.

  • After the Bisq deal, I no longer deal with Scoopon.

  • I have had exactly the same problem in Perth Marek121, I bought a scoopon deal for $149 for a beachside hotel deal. I bought it on the 7th Jan but no bookings were accepted at the hotel until the 12th. Tried to get into my scoopon account - forgot password! Same reason - too many damned passwords to remember - tried to re-set password, didn't work. Tried to contact scoopon - no response. I too made sure that the new password receipt was not blocked by my spam filter. I tried to re-set the flaming password about 12 times. The booking was for the 14th. Went to the hotel without voucher - thinking well, they had the barcode number when I made the booking, they must have been sent the voucher and I am worrying about nothing…HORRIFYING! They almost sent us away because we did not have it - but then after showing them the credit card payment on their business centre PC they decided to let us check in, but would keep a credit card imprint in case the scoopon voucher never does show up. Even the hotel staff tried to phone scoopon - as it seems, they have a rep's number - but there was no answer! What should have been a pleasant experience turned to poo because scoopon are un-contactable. All the password re-sets that I attempted arrived in a pile after we had checked in - and so I could at last access my scoopon a/c. BUT the scoopon voucher was not in My Stuff. Now I am still trying to contact scoopon to find out what happened to it. Wish me luck! If the hotel charges me again for the voucher it will have been a rather expensive mistake to trust scoopon. NEVER AGAIN!

    We've send you a few emails in response to your queries, but it seems that your email provider might be blocking our replies.

    You might need to contact your internet/email provider to see if they have any filters that are blocking our emails.

      thanks for the email. Just got back from Wisemans Ferry. I am extremely happy with the purchase. Hope there will be more hotel scoopons in the future. But I still think you should open a phone line for the customers.

        • i dont know…my polish email provider didnt work with scoopon domain (never had any problems before). i had to open a gmail account and contacted them from new account. Scoopon sent me the voucher to new email address. its all good now.

  • I have the same problem! I bought a lot of Scoopon Vouchers within the last weeks. I forgot my password, reset it many, many times and never got an email with the new one. I checked my spam folder and the settings of my provider. I sent 5 emails to Scoopon, posted on their Facebook Wall, but nothing happens, except they deleted my post! I will leave Australia in 6 weeks and spent a lot of money on Scoopon voucher which I can't use now! I'm really angry at the moment and hope anyone from Scoopon will read that and finally send me my new password!!! (The email address I'm registered with is: Mod: Not a good idea to post your email address)

    • netmouse, you should follow the above advice. If your email address is blocking their emails, then no matter how many time you send them an email again, they will not be able to get a response over to you. My suggestion is to email them using another address (gmail, hotmail) and see if you can elicit a response that way. Facebook is also a no go due to privacy constraints.

  • Hello a scoopon was purchased in error today - $999!!! Can you please cancel it scoopon? I have submitted 2 requests so far for this and I am fretting as we won't be able to pay rent if you take that money. Please please cancel the purchase.

    • Scoopon hasn't participated on OzBargain for a long time. How did you accidentally buy a $999 item?

      Best you wait for their reply. Not sure if they will refund though.

  • I bought some items at the end of Jan 2013 from SCOOPON. I still have not received it. I email couple of times and no reply as yet. This is my last dealing with SCOOPON and will suggest everyone not to buy any product. This is enough! Can I call them?????

  • Is it true that Scoopon never reply customer complaints? I just sent an email yesterday but got no reply. I was charged twice and got two vouchers; however, I only bought one!! I wanna get one of them refund. What should I do after the two business days they promise to reply?

      I haven enquiry. I purchased a scoopon deal for ABS roadside assist…I received the scoopon in my account and when i download it it has a scoopon number and barcode number bur ABs need an activation number which is not on my voucher and they wont process the deal without it..order no 4423921….can you send me an activation code as the deal runs out tomorrow..I tried to join today as i thought I had all the info but they wouldnt accept it….thanks

        The only numbers you need are the long Scoopon voucher number and barcode number. There is no activation code that needs to be supplied to ABS also.

          I tried over the phone again and they insist that they need an activation code…will drive to a local ABS later today and see if it works onsite. my ticket is #358821. I gave them all the info on the voucher including the barcode number.Kelly from support got back to me also very quickly (thanks for that) and said the same as you.
