I thought there was an issue with customs and batteries?

    • not that I know off, otherwise they woudn't be able to sell any inbuilt battery operated products in Australia.

The Xiaomi Power bank 2 is probably a better buy for an extra ~$3. Seller is located in AU, so no potential customs issues to deal with + Xiaomi has a better rep. Both ports support QC (not simultaneously), so if one dies you can still QC on the other.

That xiaomi not looking like it got qc3 though.

Source: i bought one for my folks.

      • It does in fact support QC3

Source, I bought 2 and the listing explains it has QC3.

        • I bought one also. Yes the listing says qc3 but the link below shows them testing it.

          It says qc2 only

          http://www.chargerlab.com/2018/01/11/unboxing-the-new-xiaomi…

I got the exact model number as the one in the link.

So unless you have tested it to prove otherwise i stand by what i said.

Ninja edit. Dont want to sound like im attacking you. Just saying the model number of the one i received is the same on the link from chargerlab. You could have received a different one so yours could be qc3. I was only going with what was tested and my powerbank being the same model number.

  • I got this from last deal. No issue with the shipping.

  • I think I read somewhere that 20,000mAh and more is a problem. Last 2 domestic flights, I took my 10,000 mAh and left the 20,000mAh at home. No probs with the small one.

International in other countries can be a problem tho. I read on 1 forum that an airport in China (I don't recall which airport) had a huge bin full of confiscated portable power banks.

PS: I really like my power banks….however, now that I have the big one, I prefer it to the 10,000mAh 😏

      • Good to know, thank you

20,000mAh and more is a problem

It's 100Wh and beyond. 20,000mAh is fine as they are between 72-77Wh on average.

      • Ah, so it's Wh that they're interested in. Thanks

  • I tried to buy it, but it says that they don't ship to Australia.
