The webpage says 'activates in Singapore'. Do you need a VPN to activate the game?

  Nope, it activates globally. Shared on Slickdeals which is an American site… Fanatical just says that if it detects your IP address as Singapore, so that probably means you are already behind a VPN.

    Thanks. I wasn't using any VPN then. That's why I asked. It now says "activate in the United States". I guess that could be the region of the buyer that bought it last.
