So the Woolworths one carries more moisture?
Yes, the roasting process removes some moisture, as well as enhances the flavour.
Which one is healthier?
@montorola: They're both healthy af, dry roasted just makes them taste like heaven.
@montorola: Depend on the PASTEURIZATION process that includes, but not limited to, Propylene Oxide, steam and hot/cold air.

Moist.
WW almonds are far better than Aldi
Any particular reason or you just like WW itself?
Seems a crazy premium to pay at normal price compared to Aldi.
Still dearer but I beter venture over to WW and see what the fuss is about I guess.
I would agree…I used to buy from Coles/Woolies and last time decide to Dave a buck and bought from Aldi… There was definitely a difference in taste and not as good. I have come to realise there are certain products where you are better off paying extra for better quality… For everything else we have Also ;)
Dave a buck aye?
$13.32/kg to be exact :)
Sounds like you're quite nuts about this deal
Not-fun fact: Almonds aren't actually nuts.
Mate, you're getting overly seedy about a pun.
Drupe post.
@ozbjunkie: These puns are almond-ane.
If you have the Amex (wine dine and shop online) Woolworth deal. You could buy 3 packs and get $10 credit back. And yes you are 3 cents short, may have to combine with something else.
Everyday price for Australian natural almonds at Aldi is $9.69 for 750g pack.
Which is cheaper than this deal.
The extra $0.30 is the premium you pay so that you don't need to tell your friends that you shop at Aldi.
Because advertising you shop at woollies is any better? Lol
Agreed, please hand in your Ozbargain membership if you don't shop at Aldi.

@xev:
Hi Pete.
Almonds at our local golden circle factory outlet here in Brissy does 500g for $5. So basically $10/kg. Cheapest I've ever seen around town. They must be making money, which means Woolies/Aldi are making even more money lol…
Almonds $5 for 500g Capalaba & Morayfield, Brisbane 2-20/5 or sold out.
Time to make more yummy almond butter😀
Where are the deals on non salted cashews?
+1
The only ones I see on sale is the 400g salted ones at $8 :(
The almonds I get at Aldi are $9.69 for 750g, which = $12.11kg which is cheaper than this.
This is the normal discount which happens most months at Woolies. Check Pricehipster.
Yum, in need of restock. Thanks for the share.
$9.99 for a 1kg bag at my local IGA.
Post it as a deal, though I reckon you will find you are mistaken on either price or volume
True, I need to have a look again, might have misread it haha
See here
Have these almonds been activated? I'm only interested in activated almonds.
You can play a radio next to almonds and then they will be radio activated…
It is showing $9.90 for me.
I dunno why this is getting a hundred votes, this regularly goes on sale at this price and yet never gotten this much popularity.
Thought I’m theorising that people now think it’s cheap because Aldi is more expensive?
People need to realise Aldi is no barometer of a deal.
Except it's not. For the same type, Aldi at normal price is still cheaper. So, yeah puzzling???
I guess they just must be so much better. Freshness? flavour? no one has said.
We go through over a bag a week and Aldi had been the freshest and best value I've found so with a special it's a good time to trial woolies ones.
Costco got it beat fellas.
Roasted & Salted are the same price.
but natural vs dry roasted. 😊
