Is this a joke post ?

    • so you're going to put an air bed underneath your mattress ?

      • This is a product designed to help people who may not be able to make their own bed without help. Ever wondered how much lifting the corner of a Mattress weighs?

          Not really.

        • Then think about someone who might have Arthritis or Back problems… How do you think people who suffer with pain lift at least 6 Kg in one hand while working to get a sheet on a bed. Something to think about, we are all going to get older, if we are lucky.

This product will only make it slightly, like a smidge, easier to lay a fitted sheet, but useless for flat sheets.

The price on this really needs to be south of $100

Good practical product, kinda fit into the nice to have but can do without for 90% of adult population. Pricing is kinda steep, probably something that is probably more $50

Probably good for the elderly and people with disabilites etc

  • Interesting concept OP - I think you'll need to do better than free shipping around here though, especially as no one has ever heard of your company.

As a 36 year old girl who's in hospital and addicted to OzBargain and online shopping, I think this is a great idea as I've just had spinal surgery and can't do simple stuff like make the bed. So kudos to you guys, I nearly bought one.

HOWEVER (can I please pass on this feedback to BedEzy as constructive, not negative), initially when I first went to look at the BedEzy site, I was assuming it was a metal, mechanical lifter like what I have in the hospital with my beds. I was surprised to see it was an air bladder. It's quite a clever idea but unfortunately not suitable for me as I have a cat that likes to lie under the bed and claw/tear at the materials between the slats. It already looks quite ugly and messy under there. The second problem is it is a boxed base. As in it has high sides around the mattress like a waterbed, Ikea Malm style. So the lifter even on maximum lift probably will not clear the sides.

All the best! Good luck with everything.

    • Hi Neenie, Thanks for the feedback. We will be off to Ikea to find this bed and test it to see if Bedezy can lift a Mattress up and out of the boxed frame. We have tested many over the last 5 years of development. Cats clawing inflatable bladders only ends in a cat that will probably suffer the cat version of PTSD and scare any of the small furry overlords minions along with it.

From looking at the Ikea product range Bedezy will work fine with most of the designs. We make no promises cat and Bedezy will get along. Thanks for the positive vibes and we hope that you are well and out of hospital soon. Hope you also got a laugh about the "small furry overlord" we are fans of Cats and hope you get to see yours soon.

If you want to get someone to run a measure around the bed frame you have, let us know what the depth is - I think we may be able to solve the claw problem with a rubber matt over the slats from the inside of the bed frame. Hit us up on email if you are keen to find a solution [email protected]

      Cheers

      Ben

      • I reckon a couple of thin EVA camping mats between the slats and the lifter would work well.

  • I honestly don't think I've ever lifted my mattress to change a sheet. Am I doing it wrong?
