As I was looking through the Crucial MX500 deals, I also noticed the Western Digital Blue 3Ds with comparable pricing (in fact I believe the 250GB is cheaper than the Crucial). I believe these drives are just as good from an also reputable brand.

    In terms of stats, I believe the Crucial may have a slight edge over the Western Digital. But in terms of real world performance, you most likely won't notice.

    No, Crucial is comparable to the Samsung 850 Evo series. That is the MX500 series.

    This is comparable in performance to Kingston

    Munki is right that you wouldn't notice real world difference. You would either need Samsung Pro or NVME drives for that.

    Are you thinking too much ? overall the performance gap of MX500 might worth more than this $2.40 on (250GB) but the 500GB is not cheaper than last deal here
