Looking for 0% Purchase Card OR Balance Transfer Card

I want to buy a car with credit card.

Looking for 0% interest rate purchase card (Option A) or 0% balance transfer card (Option B).

As I don't have any credit card now, If I go with balance transfer option, I need to apply for another credit card to purchase. In that case I need to apply two credit cards. So I'm looking for 0% interest purchase card with less or zero fees.

Can some one guide which option is better as per your experience. Do they approve two credit cards in short span of time as I have home mortgage.

Thanks

We charge 1% interest on credit card payments, FYI…

Not many dealerships will wipe off that 1% for a full vehicle payment.

    Why aren't you buying a $7000 car?

  • Bankwest currently has a 0% for 13 months dual offer on Purchases and Balance Transfers - this might serve your needs?

If you are looking for long 0% BT offers, I think the longest is Citi right now with 26 months. No purchase offer though.

  • 18 months ago I’m aware that both Citi and Virgin (they are in bed together) both had balance transfer options that allowed you to take the transfer as cash (or cheque or something).
