  Not a bad price by any means, but I think you can do a little better if you connect with an on-shore Lenovo sales rep.

  For example: I purchased an 20KHCTO1WWENAUH which is the 6th generation 4G model and configured it with:

  • CPU i7-8550U
  • OS Win10 Home 64
  • Display 14.0" WQHD Premium IPS 500nits
  • RAM 16GB
  • SSD 512GB
  • WWAN - Fibocom L850-GL

  Was ~$3,300. Asked an off-shore sales rep for a price and that knocked ~$600 off the price (to ~$2700). Asked an on-shore sales rep for a quote and I pulled the trigger when he got to ~$2,500 delivered with some accessories. All of these ultrabooks from Dell, HP and Lenovo have heaps of retail margin for the local distributors to play with, so DO NOT be shy about pushing for a deal.

    That's some impressive bargaining! Configuring this deal to the same spec (ex the Fibocom which doesn't seem to be an option) is $2804. How did you manage to get an 'on-shore' rep (assuming you mean via web chat)?
