    Where are the terms and conditions?

    I am not seeing $1 a day on your linked site.

    Can you direct us to the $1 a day deal?

    I am looking, from Cairns to Sydney and cheapest I am seeing so far is from $29 a day.

      Relocation deals usually don't include insurance, so need to take that into account. There can also be penalties (full price) if you return it late. I also see this clause to be interesting "Relocation Vehicles must be used as means of transportation only. All camping, cooking and bedding equipment must not be used during a Relocation Rental".

      The catch is generally the time frame to transport them is pretty small so you don't actually get to spend much time site seeing.

      Other "the catches" mentioned elsewhere, relocation deals are deliberately cheap to incentivise the reverse flow to balance those who take one-way trips. That's also why people have to pay more for one-way trips, because they have to subsidise relocations like this back. So they're not "too good to be true" as such, it's just the relocator isn't the one doing the paying.

      It's also quite common for relocations to not be on the company's main website.

          Nothing unusual with that if you've ever hired a campervan.

          It's just a preauth on your credit card normally.

    Usually they calculate hire length at around 500kms a day (or more) for relocations. Pretty difficult to enjoy having a campervan if all you're doing is driving it.

    Lol. Don't be so hard on op,
    I've driven these $1/day relocation cars from other companies before, it's a legit nice deal (If you don't work 9-5 everyday and have free time when others don't).

    Insurance is refundable, you just need to pay the fuel & toll yourself but sometimes you'd get some travel allowance as well

      I agree. I have used these relocation deals 4 times without any problems. But I think you mean the deposit is refundable, not the insurance. The insurance is around $20/day from memory.
      You also have to avoid tolls with some companies or they hit you with a huge collection fee.
      Also, work out how you will clean the thing at the other end before going in to sign the contract, the cleaning fees can be steep if you leave it to them to do.

        Ops my bad, yes you are right I meant to say deposit is refundable

        Great point about toll, if not careful you could find yourself paying $10 in toll but $90 in administration fee.

    Just wanted to say I used this. A good experience. Travelwheels were very flexible and would be happy to use again.
