  • Wondering if you can purchase like a sauce or something for 20c and get the drink. Not sure what is the cheapest thing on their app

    • Sauce, or a cone maybe? Is the 30c cone still active?

      • No the cone offer expired.

    • Yes you can do that.

The cheapest thing on my app seems to be the mayo @ 30c.

You could, I guess, but if you're going into Maccas anyway, you may as well buy a $2 or $3 burger with the free drink instead of literally just wasting your money on a sauce packet.

      • +3

Yes mayo for 30 c isn’t really value for money.

How about ketchup? It’s free in the app

      • It won’t work with free items.

    • A soft serve ice cream is probably the best value.

    • Yes, should definitely work, with any 'purchase' . When they had free coffee 'with purchase' I ordered coffee on app and added caramel (50c) or added marshmallows (60c), and free coffee still worked as small/cheap item being the purchase.

  • What happened to the mcfeast in the app? It's gone in mine. Does anyone still have it?

    • +1

No and the replacement double beef bacon isn't as good IMO. At least they've finally made the small meal for $5 available in the app similar to the mcfeast.

  • Lame deal imo.

You can get a free large drink with HJ shake and win. Not always , but often.

The drinks are better and maccaz

  • Cant stand mcdonalds, prices are expensive and seem to rise quickly, HJ cheaper and better value. Even though Mcds are much more profitable than HJ they never seem to offer 100% free stuff unlike HJ who have the shake n win app + the receipts which had a free cheeseburger if u did a survey.

  • No soda water :-(

  • Has anybody considered using reusable drink bottles for the drinks at maccas in the similar theme as coffee cups, slurpee bottles? Would it frowned upon?

See so many littered drink cups especially if you walk along common walkways. How come they are ignored by the community yet coffee cups and PET plastic bottles get so much attention.
