I just received the pen the other day and it does write well.
Just quickly tested the styles tip on my phone and it works well.
the 'cm' ruler is spot on to my EXP branded office ruler.
its a pity that the 'cm' ruler is on the opposite side to the pocket clip,
would have been better if placement was swapped over with the 'inches' ruler.
also when you unscrew the cap to use the screwdriver, the cap screws onto the ball point pen end for safe storage.

    • Also have the pen, with mine if you put the pen down with the spirit level flat on the table (spirit level flat is between the inches flat and the clip), measuring with cm is ok. The main issue I had with mine is the cartridge is only 6cm (according to ruler on pen), and is 2mm thick; thus ink doesn't last long. The cartridge comes up to about the 18mm mark on the pen and screws into the pen end (black part of pen pulls away from finger grip part). Not sure if there is any bigger after market cartridges that would fit.
(EDIT: appears on ebay, need to search for refills for "Swarovski Crystal Pens 7cm". I haven't physically tried them, but they look pretty close).
(EDIT-EDIT: Trying 4x5pcs blue ink with white tip, qty discount of 32c brought it down to $5.76…a lot for an almost free pen, but I like it for on-site work.
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-2-5-20X7cm-Black-Blue-Ballpoinโ€ฆ).

Slight flaw with the outdoor kit tool…when you try to use the phillips screwdriver, you are holding the blade in your fingers. Further, when tightening/loosening the screw the force on the tool makes it start to close, so a tighter grip on the tool (i.e. on the blade) is required.
