Was in Rhodes yesterday and saw the Monteiths Summer 8 pack (2x each of their Golden Ale, Radler, Original Ale & Apple Cider) at Shorty's Liquor on clearance at $14.95.
The RRP is either $20 or $22, so it's a good deal - works out to be $45 for a case from my favourite brewery (along with Little Creatures), the Golden Ale in particular is absolutely fantastic, could drink it all day long. Great buy for an afternoon beer tasting session.
I bought six of these 8 packs, and there were about 15-20 8 packs left as of yesterday afternoon. Note that most (but not all) of the beers in the 8 packs that I bought expire in March 2011 so they should be drank soon (a few of the ciders expire in Dec 2011!).
superb drop. if only I could get to Rhodes.
