God of war is performing well at 69. All the other retailers are all doing 69 too to make sure the competition don't get on top.
Also, can purchase %5 discounted wish cards from many local registered clubs. The cards might be only $100 value, Im not sure. Still worth it to me, Im going today to club and buy $100 Big W card for $95, then get this game.
If your registered club card has "REWARDS" written on it, you can probably do the same.

What are people's thoughts on playing this game without having played the prequels? It looks amazing but I'm a newbie to the franchise..
Most reviews say it's fine without having played the other games. This is ultimately a reboot that has links to the past games, but is intended for a new audience to enjoy also.
just watch a summary of the big dudes history on youtube. it will help give some backing to understand his character but isn't really necessary
I am on parental leave but this role takes more time than my day job lol
If i get bored of games like last of us and uncharted can anyone suggest whether I will also tire of this after playing for a while?

Thank you, I got it price matched at EB Games today. I bought a PS4 from Big W before and I hated it, but I couldn't return it. I now choose to always price match from EB Games, because even though their prices are ridiculous, the 7 return policy is outstanding.
