Yes, ok, it's cheap, but you can get name brands for not much more than that sometimes (I got a 5/6 kW Panasonic for about $960 after ebay discount). Mind you I have a cheapo Bunnings Mistral 4/5 kW one for $500 that is still going fine after about 5 years. Just lucky with that one though I reckon.
I agree…it's a crap brand, and for similar price, maybe only slightly more you can get a decent name brand, so why would you bother with this rubbish…
If Trump could do one good thing it'd be stop the Chinese making crap like this. Waste of resources.
Strange comments imo. I had 3 cheap chinese aux air cons fitted in 2001. They ran well up to 2016 when I moved premises and got us through many super hot summers. Price here may not be great but buying a "name" brand of a good that is very basic in functionality isn't always the most effective alternative.
We're not saying it's guaranteed to not last, but that it's more likely to (and likely be less efficient than a good brand/good model). You may be lucky like you have (and I have with one) and have it last.
What is Frost brand? Pickup only in NSW.
