  • A bit hesitant with this purchase … the moment I commit to this, tomorrow Kogan $0 prepaid campaign will launch.

I just received my order. They sent a generic $40 Vodafone Starter Pack. Unless they keep detailed records in their system (which I doubt) it should activate on any of their plans including the 365.

I just went ahead and ordered a few more. Great value for money for someone who's mostly on WiFi like me, $40 on the 365 plan last me 4 months or more.

Edit: nowhere on the pack or during the purchase was an expiry date for the SIM / credit mentioned.

    • Have you tried activating the $40 starter pack on 365 plus plan? Would love to hear if it works.

      • Sorry no, I don't need it for another couple of months.

        • No worries. Thanks.

  • Can this SIM card be used as a hotspot or is tethering blocked? People on this thread seem to be experiencing mixed results.

  • Genuine question: how many did you guys buy?

  • I ported my phone to Kogan from Vodafone and I was wondering if I could use this offer now going back to Vodafone as my phone number is the same one as when I was with Vodafone.

  • For how long is it 18gb? i'll probably activate it later.

  • Note the ordering process is confusing as when you click the link, it looks like the code has already been entered. I made the order at the original price as I thought the code was already applied and when I contacted Vodafone they are not able to change my order or cancel my order. The item has not been sent.

  • Can I buy this, use for a month then cancel or not re charge 2nd month? What about the credit card info entered at checkout. Is that card saved for recurring charges? Chat rep says this is a monthly plan and card will be charged for future charges? I just need it for few days while in Australia, Vodafone don't take PayPal, just don't want to see any more charges on my card!!

  • I accidentally made an order at full $40. Vodafone support won't let me cancel or get a partial refund.
Zero goodwill to a new customer.

I did the same above. I think the ordering pages are quite deceptive.

  • I know it's late and probably no one's watching, but did anyone else have trouble initiating their SIM activation? I tried twice to start the process and both times it's said that something has gone wrong and to try again later. Is this a website problem or what? Help. Or else I'll have to activate my Kogan SIM instead.

  • Does anyone know if this is on auto recharge? I can't seem to find a section in my account to stop auto recharge or remove my credit card.

So the link still works? I bought two of these. One on the 17th of May, the other one last night. Definitely good value! Love it.
