Not a bad price for Gears 4. Especially considering it includes download codes for the first 3 Gears games plus Judgement.

Just make sure you have plenty of hard drive space on your XB1 as I'm pretty sure gears 4 takes up around 100gb of space after updates
AFAIK Play Anywhere is for digital copies only. Could be completely wrong though, I have a Chromebook so you can guess that PC gaming is the last thing on my mind.
Play Anywhere is digital only. Need to buy from the Xbox or Windows stores.
It's the XBox One X only version. However, it comes with the code to play Gears 1,2,3 via backward compatibility mode as well.
If you really want to play it on PC, you can apparently use the GamePass trial method since Gears 4 on GamePass is PlayAnywhere edition. However, you can only play Gears 4.
I bought this game last year without realising it is currently in GamePass library.
Those that got the mastercard game pass deal this title is included. However the download size is something ridiculous like 90gb.
Is this 90gb update to play the game on disc? That's just crazy if it is! Thought the digital version of the game was only about 30-40gb bigger.
No i would say its considerably less for the disc. The full digital download is huge similar to Halo
If you have the disc, it will copy some files from the discs and download the update. The update is huge because Gears 4 is an XBox One X enhanced title.

On the box it says you get GoW 1, 2, 3. But that promotion ended a long time ago.
Pretty sure it's a download code in the box and not a promotion. Considering the game only came out in 2016, I also doubt the promo ended "years ago"

That's applicable to US copies of the game. Seeing as it's printed on the box, I'd say it's safe to assume your codes were stolen or lost. Games like Quantum Break still have their BC codes in cases when I last checked as recently as Monday.
Well, I bought one last year (cheaper than $25 I think) without realising it is on GamePass. The codes worked.
If you have time to play them quickly, just get the 14 day game pass trial. Gears of War 4 is in there (PlayAnywhere version) so are Gears of war 1,2,3. Gears of War ultimate edition (Gears 1 remastered if you like) is also in Game Pass. Gears of War 3 has been XB1X enhanced so has Gears of War 2.
In short, if you have XBox One, and want to save money, consider just play the game(s) through Game Pass.
The codes are included in the box , so this is a good deal
Just picked up a few min ago. 4 copies left at Target Tuggeranong Canberra. Opened and the codes are on a card in the box - nothing about expiry on code card or box even in the fine print. The game without the card is $25 at Cex used so this is a good deal imo.

It's a windows play anywhere or whatever, right? So you can also get the PC version with it? If so this is the cheapest price for the PC version ever, probably.
