  • How much are they normally?

    • +8

Good question - No idea, never seen them before - Got lots of dust on them and look like they're from the 80's.
That said, Same Size Esky in Blue… cheapest I've ever seen personally is in the $15-20 range when on special at Coles?

Looks like they're the green/blue versions of these? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/231831

      • +5

We've stopped ordering these altogether so it's purely your luck whether a particular store will have any left.

Re: the previous price, they were $20 before this latest reduction.

        • +1

Can confirm - i bought one from my local bunnings a couple of months ago for $20. Very basic but still serves its purpose. Definitely worth a fiver. Heck grab a couple if you need them!

    • +5

      More than $5…

  • +1

They where clearance at my local for $20 last week they also have a drink bottle inside that sells for $19.95

    • This one didn't have drink bottle inside :(

      • +8

They sold the bottle inside for $19.95 , then sold you the 5 cent esky for $5 :(

  • Myaree you mean Melville?

    • -7

Bunnings Melville is actually located in Willagee

    • It is in Myaree, but they call the shop "bunnings melville". Willagee is diagonally opposite the intersection.

      • -3

Their address is 126 N Lake Rd, Willagee WA 6156

        • Thanks for correcting, the Google Map cant seem to search?!?

        • 126 north lake road is in myaree as is Bunnings melville.

        • @Keeno: I just thought it was amusing their address was in Willagee, they are called Bunnings Melville, and people think they're in Myaree. Small crap like that amuses me.

        • Well I linked my source but didn't expect it to go this far, I don't actually have a horse in this race ;) Try clicking my LMGTFY link above.

        • @jonsnow:

After posting a condescending LMGTFY link and being wrong after failing to use google properly, how does it feel?

"You know nothing Jon Snow." :-)

        • Pretty good actually, how's your night going? ;) Nice edit BTW

        • +1

Well I’m glad that that is sorted, we can all head to myaree and get cheap eskys in the morning.

        • @manic:

          Bunnings address actually says Melville.

Google maps address is in Willagee.

          Address validation confirms Myaree.

        • @jonsnow:
spooky - i was thinking of that at the time :)

and i hope people got the GoT reference.

        • +1

I don't understand why so many people comments just to argue the address and location!

  • Excellent price. Has anyone found this deal at other branches?

    • +8

i just broke into my local bunnings in sydney and found they have the same deal.

      • Wow! That is so helpful! Thank you so much for letting me guess which branch. Did you get anything good?

        • +2

Could be better than the useless garden tool boxes that all have so many unnecessary books and crannies for spiders to live in..

    • +4

The spiders stay fresher in these

    • Free spiders!! Always think of the freebies hahaha

    • I'll take your unnecessary books ;)

  • I bought it at $26 in Sydney this year. Last year the same model was stock out!

    • But did it have a drink bottle inside?

      • Oh. Yes right. There was a drink bottle came with this.

  • I was there this afternoon looking for eskys.
I totally missed this, but I'm glad I didn't purchase anything in the end

  • Anyone used this for the Anova?

    • +1

I use the 6-pack lunchbox esky for the Anova, it works well. These are Esky brands so it should be fine.

These are sold out at Bunnings Myaree

  • Has anyone seen it at another WA store?
    It's a unicorn now

  • Is is it also available in Vic?

  • +1

I've now seen Tom from MySpace post an Esky deal (probably while wearing a Bintang singlet and thongs).

    My life is complete.

  • bugger, i bet they'd be sold out by the time i get there.

If anyone lives in the south perth/como area and ends up going down, please let me know, i'd be happy to buy one off you.

    • Sold out when I went this morning mate.

      • thanks man.

        Have reported as sold out.

  • Belmont WA still has them at $20 with the bottle, sadly

  • It’s good to use this to store your small batteries, it keeps them cool and dry and last longer .

  • Just got home and it 8.30am in WA, none in Melville, Subiaco and Innaloo. The staff at Melville said they sold out within an hour and 'there's none left at other stores' Not sure that's true but it's likely..

  • Looks like a good deal then from the comments but not sure what I'd put into it!

Is it handy to use even as a simple sturdy bucket? (Not like those crappy 95c ones). For instance to set up a portable water source for the Gerni pressure washer.
Or is it over priced for that purpose?
