Didnt see the pink or green options available
Thanks. (Wasn't sure if the pink and green ones were to the right, just cut off in the photo!)
FYI, just called, and it does also include pink and green! (may be store dependent on whether they have them in stock)
can’t help but feel the controllers are vastly overpriced .. cost 1/4 of the whole machine .. they should have came out with swappable shells ones so we can customize the color
To be fair, in a sense you're paying $99 for two controllers, not one. When you think about it that way, it's not too bad.
Two shit ones or one usable one. I can't really agree with you
Classic Nintendo mate. Along with game droughts, gimmicks and lack of third party support. Over priced peripherals are part of the package!
You stuck in 2015 bro? Game droughts? Lack of 3rd party support?
No, but apparently Nintendo still are.
Dunno why someone negged you, but I agree with you.
If someone has to buy this, you're better off getting the pro controller.
Also, the only great thing the switch has is their first party games, I'm not really a fan of anything else..
Joycons are $99 all the time in target so this ain’t a deal
Even the Spaltoon 2 Pink & Green ones?
Those are usually $119 I think?

Last Pink & Green set procured from my local Big W :-)
I can explicitly confirm the Pink & Green set is similarly labelled & discounted to $99.
They hide the controllers behind the counter?
Like typical nintendo product it is way overpriced
Catch of the day selling them for 94 if you are member
94 amazon.. Delivered
to be fair, that's for grey and yellow pairs only.
red/blue is $101.67
pink/green is $115.49
This deal, which works out to be $94.05 if using 5% off giftcards, is probably the best option around for those that want the pink/green! (Target and Catch do not sell the pink/green)
If you have a JB or EB around you that will price match Amazon, you can save an extra 5% on the Amazon price via gift cards
Yeah, looks like the cheapest prices around would be:
Grey/Grey: pricematch against amazon ($94.99), and use 5% off giftcard = $90.24
Yellow/Yellow: pricematch against amazon ($94), and use 5% off giftcard = $89.30
Red/Blue: $99 at Big W/Target (or pricematch against Big W/Target), and use 5% off giftcard = $94.05
Pink/Green: $99 at Big W (or pricematch against Big W), and use 5% off giftcard = $94.05
Those are using commonly available 5% giftcards - obviously, if you have bigger discounted giftcards, you'll do even better! (Should have grabbed some Catch 20% giftcards!!! $75.20 for grey or yellow, if you're a Club Catch Member!!!) :)
IMHO Joycon Pro controller for $89 is a much better controller and is cheaper to begin with.
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/games-consoles/platforms/controlle…
But these are two controllers
For most games they're functionally a single controller.
but if you are in the market for a second set of joycons to allow for 4 player functionality this is what you need.
Yes they will provide that function but it won't be comfortable at all holding a tiny piece of controller in your hand.
Trust me I've had to play mario kart with a single joycon and it sucks!!!
Grab a set of joycon grips, for about $10-$15 (or under $10 on AliExpress). Makes it much more comfortable (actually usable!).
Whoah, 100 bucks for a controller…. "Two controllers for the price of one" is of course a gimmick.
So don't buy it then? Your comment is pointless.
For those complaining about generally high cost of these controllers, maybe look into how much tech is inside these things. The new 'Labo' is possible due to the sheer amount of sensors and cameras in the joycons.
So then why is labo so expensive if it's just cardboard?
You can have one or the other as expensive, but not both
It's also software… Do any people actually read what labo is before nitpicking?
Does that include the pink green too?
