Saw about 10 Samsung Gear VR and 6 D-Link PowerLine AV500 Mini Starter Kit in the glass cupboard.
Not sure if other Big W offer the same deal.

Doesn't that depend on wiring though?
The LAN port is 100Mbit, meaning if you can only connect to it at 100mb/sec you can only send/receive at 100mb/sec.
The 500mb is more meant to complement the N300 unit which is the wifi model (300mb/sec theoretical).
That DHP-309AV is nationwide.
Also $49 at computer alliance if that’s closer to anyone https://www.computeralliance.com.au/d-link-dhp-309av-500mbps…
that gear vr is the first gen version, it would be better to get the second or third version with the remote.
besides the remote probably no difference. I bought a S8+ so i had to get a new one. I looked on gumtree and got a new one for $90.
They were free with the pre-order of the S8 so i'm sure there are a lot of unwanted ones floating around.
You missed Telstra Gear VR deal last year…
Had the DLink powerline adapts a few years back and they were absolute junk. Sold them and got some TPLink which worked great. YMMV.
bear in mind that is the first gen 2015 Gear VR, and has limited compatibility.

For anyone wondering, you'll never get better than 100Mbps performance on these (despite being "rated for 500Mbps") due to the fact that both ports are rated at 10/100.
