Is it any good? Do you recommend going as couple of adults? I got the impression it was aimed at kids after speaking with their staff.
I did intend to go a few weeks ago but their staff at the counter put me off and made me question if I would enjoy it.
Yes it's for kids
Its good but definitely aimed at young kids. A majority of the exhibition is designed for kids to colour in images such as trucks, spaceships, animals, people etc and then scan their drawings and have them project on the walls where they can interact with them by touch. As an adult you would probably do the whole thing in 20 minutes and then get bored and move on.
Went today with our kids. It would be weird being in there without kids. And expensive.
Yes we have it was excellent and you get entry to the powerhouse museum for the rest of the day. The exhibit is just one small section but we spent about an hour and a half in there before getting lunch and coming back to visit the rest of the museum. You can only buy tickets through ticketek so unlikely you can find a cheaper option unless you have something like cash rewards or similar.
