Book a 4 person room and only pay for 2 adults!
We've introduced this great offer for a limited time so you can bring your friends or the kids along for free
.

Here's the lowdown on how to get this offer below:
1) Our website will always show you pricing per person when you search for a cruise. The discounted cruises below will show the offer per person price (this is the total room price divided by 4 people) Don't worry, once you start booking you'll see you are only paying the equivalent of 2 adult fares

2) Once you select your cruise and view room options you can start your booking. You'll need to select 2-4 adults or if you are bringing the kids 2 adults + 2 kids, then select your room type and the Go Fare. At this point you will see you are paying for 2 adult fares and the 3rd and 4th fares are free. How exciting - we love discounts!
We hope this helps you book your Buy 2 Get 2 free cruise and you have a great time onboard.

Funny. For one of the selected cruise, it says $300/person before selecting the 2 for 2 offer. When selecting the offer, it says 1st and 2nd adult is $600 each, which ends up the same price. So where is the 2 for 2 offer?

    • -2

      from $300 per person.

which is accurate because the final price is that price.

if the price was half of that from price then wouldn't tickets therefore be from the half price which then would mean that people would expect them to be half of half (which is actually just half of whatever the from/half price is).

      • so a room for 2 only paid $600 instead of $1200 ?

        • not with this deal, it's a 2 for 2 (4 people). so, from $300 per ticket for 4 pax = $1200.

        • @altomic: Checked a trip and see no saving at all, 1pp $477, 2pp $477, 3pp $477, 4pp $491

    • So true. My thought exactly.

Waiting for a better deal at a decent cruise ship :(

What lines do you recommend? We went on a cruise on the Carnival Legend and it was a pretty good experience, but the ship itself was a tad garish and tired. We did Melbourne -> Hobart -> Port Arthur -> Sydney over 5 nights for $588 each balcony room. Like others have said, look at Cruise Guru for options.

      • What do you have to pay for onboard? Alcohol I presume. Is basic food provided? Compulsory tips? Other fees?

In total, how much do you need to pay excluding off board activities?

        Thanks.

        • The only extras we paid were for alcohol and the meals in the specialty restaurant. Tips were not included but they were also not compulsory. We didn't go on any excursions associated with the cruise. We wandered on our own through Hobart and the tender access to Port Arthur was included in the cruise price. All the activities we did onboard were included in the price including the shows, trivia quizzes, etc. The access to the gym, pools and the whirlpool spas is also included in the price.

Spa treatments, clothes washing facilites, alcohol, bingo, onboard gambling, specific excursions are all extra costs. There were also on board shops you could buy things from. Also the bottled water in the room, which they don't tell you about.

There were two included food options - the upstairs area was like a cafeteria with various stations of food. Reasonable quality. There was also an ala Carte restaurant which included cooked breakfasts, three course lunch and three course dinners. The food was roughly on par with an average cafe - the lava cake dessert was delicious. There was a 24 hour pizza parlour if you were hungry outside hours.

We were actually quite impressed with the balcony rooms; not a bad size and the bathroom was quite acceptable.

        • @try2bhelpful:

It's very cheap compared to most of the stuff you get using Google.

        • @tightwad: We went through Cruise Guru. Have a look at their website.

      • Carnival seems like the US version of P&O (similar sort of market, etc).

        • Carnival owns P&O

  • Does the deal work for 2 adults and 2 kids ?

    • Looks like you can

You'll need to select 2-4 adults or if you are bringing the kids 2 adults + 2 kids,

      • Do they usually charge for kids ? I am getting adults full rate and kids free, unsure if its because of the deal.

    checked a few line
    e.g. Moreton Island
    From $271 .18
    pp / 4 person room

A room for 4(2A2C) is $1084.72… now set to 4A total $1081.00 … a saving of $3.72, not sure where the saving is !?!?!

By doubling the original price and deduct (buy 2 get 2 free) is not a saving to me, or someone can shed some light on this.
