Yeah I was on Castrol Edge but just realised that it has stuffed up my DPF (clearly says 'Edge is not for engines with DPF' on it's packing, but I was just too lazy to read).
Edge LL should be OK with DPFs.
My mechanic used this Penrite in my engine (he should have used VW 507 approved and did not). I got DPF errors within a month and had to replace the DPF sensor soon after. Could have been coincidence as DPF sensor failures are common but there you go.
Penrite also make A VW 507 oil if you need that.
I was using Edge 5W-40 Titanium. 0W-40 is okay with DPFs but 5W-40 is not (says on the bottle).
The 5w-30 Penrite full synth is $42.39 at Supercheap.. and it is the anemic stuff too.

Nulon full synth 10w-40 5L $41.99 & 5w-30 5L $41.29 @ Supercheap.This oil is designed for a low suphur fuel too.
So any enviro+ range oil, can really only be used with LPG.Even with a DPF, if your engine is healthy id still prefer an 'older' formula.
If you MUST run low SAPS, then look into nulon. At least they're loading their new oil range with Moly.
do you know how much moly(in ppm) Nulon adding to their oils?
They have a live chat service who tell you happily.
I know what goes in mine, but i blend.
If you dont have a DPF you are better off using HPR5 instead of this anemic enviro stuff.
