Spotted this while hunting for a new computer. Seems like a great deal and includes the SP (i5, 4gb, 128gb), Type Cover and Pen.

Buying each component separately works out to be $1497 + $199 + $139 = $1835
Or if buying when SP is on 20% off as per recent deal $1197 + $199 + $139 = $1535
Or if buying SP on discount and Type Cover only $1197 + 199 = $1396
So still works out better if you just need the SP and Cover and you can sell the Pen.
Can also buy $1350 worth of JB gift cards through Lumo Rewards (or other sources) to bring the price down to around $1270
Delivery was $8.99 on checkout and seems to be limited availability in stores.

    Im not sure - Ive used $1600 in store and that wasn't an issue. No ID check or anything. $1350 for this online as well and no issue there either.
    I'd assume you could (and should) be allowed to buy a $4000 TV on gift cards…

    The current Surface Pro's DO NOT come with pen as standard, you must purchase it separately…

    I think the new Surface Pro models don't come with a Pen included.

      Can confirm, current Surface Book 2, Surface Laptop and Surface Pro models DO NOT come with a pen.

      Only exception is the Surface Studio (the desktop machine), which has a Surface Pen, Mouse and Keyboard in the Box.

    As others mentioned, it doesn't. But I remember they did a SP4 with a Pen in the box, and now they have this bundle as well which includes Pen and Type Cover in box.
