Hi all,
I'm looking into a buying a vacuum for very fine dog hair. I'm looking into Dyson but want to see what others are using too.
I don't really have a budget, but vacuum that does the trick. Was looking into the Cordless Dyson Stick

Electrostatic broom
There's a Miele C3 "cat and dog" model that's supposed to be very good with pet hair. You should be able to find one for about $400 or so.
I have a Miele C3 complete (not the cat and dog model) and I'm very impressed.
dyson animal.
Miele cat and dog if cordless is not must. I do have Dyson V6 Animal which is cordless and Miele Cat and Dog. Miele can take all the hairs at one sweep where Dyson needs a few back and forths. Dyson is much much more convenient but emptying the canister every 2-3 days is PITA.
Do not bother with bag less (including Dyson)
We have tried everything and found in the end a Miele Bag Vac was the best.
The C3 is a great unit, just make sure u get the pet hair model.
Try a Carpet Sweeper before you vaccuum. I think Bissel still makes them.
Please let us know what you end up buying, itschrisraymond, and how it performs for you.
When we were still on the look out of vacuums, we considered dyson 360. We have a chow, so we badly need something with good suction, one that can do it on carpet as well. Found this post about Dyson, might be useful . I just feel like it's a bit bulky that it might not get under our furniture. We ended up getting another brand.
we have 2 japanese spitz (white fluffy pomerians you get the idea) dark brown plush carpet. We just purchased the $89 upright from kmart it does a great job was just going to be a use it till i find a dyson deal on here but shes a keeper.
Ive had a kirby before ($2000 worth) and bishell green machine ($750) but im 100% happy with this vac plus there exchange policy is great. Ive even bought there smaller $50 non turbo head model for downstairs.
Why would they need one?
