  • From what I can see you must have a US mobile phone to purchase?

  • Nope, available on the android market as well, just converts from whatever currency the app sells in to AUD.

  • Dunno why this doesn't have more positive votes. Good find, OP. Bought most of the offered EA games, it works out to be $1.01 if anyone's interested. This is in the Australian Android Market. You don't need a US phone as binaryactions was asking.

  • Anyone with a Galaxy S, note that a lot of Market users are complaining that it doesn't work for them (Fifa 10 and NFS Shift). Doesn't work as in the app doesn't launch and doesn't download the additional files required to play the game.

  • Noob question, how do you purchase on Android Market? Do you register your credit card or can you buy vouchers somewhere?

    • You need to set up your google account with a payment method. I have just linked my debit visa to it

  • Thanks!

  • For $1 it's worth a try. Just grabbed NFS Shift and it looks great on my DesireHD.

  • Might try this

  • Might try these games on the new legend, not sure if it's a gaming phone though

    • +1

I have the crazy birds (with pigs) game on the new legend and it runs like crap + you get spammed with ads during the game.

      • +2

Install Adfree or just disable data to stop the ads.

        • thanks! will try this out.

        • Pity I don't have a rooted phone. I'm too chicken to go there.

  • Some are available on the (Australian) market, some aren't.

  • I can't find much on the Market.

Monopoly & Game of Life not available. Would love to try them, they're great on iPhone.

  • Yeah it seems like the only ones available are the four I mentioned in the original post

  • IS a 600mhz Qualcomm Android phone powerful enough to handle NFS: Shift?

I see a lot of reviews from people using Desires and Galaxy S's.

  • Yeah, nice find. But shame the very limited market for Australia.
