It's got best before on the carton, not used by. So, technically it's not expired.
I understand 'best before' isn't 'use by'.
This isn't bottle fermented coopers with a 'best after'.
I've had bad experiences with old beer and can definitely taste when a beer is loosing it's freshness.
I'm not negging the deal, but I'd expect a bigger discount
Fair enough mate. This is my cost price so not making any money on it at all.

$46 in Melbourne but $42 in WA where you are. $6 extra for a fresh carton - tough choice for WA folks.
Currently $45 @ Woolies for a fresh carton.
Why would I pay $36 for something well past best before??
Three weeks ago this bargain would have been ok. Twenty bucks at best.
Best before? I've never seen that on any Coopers carton. Their sparkling and pale ales have best after dates on them. It wouldn't surprise me if this was the same otherwise why would they be selling it at all (especially at that price)?
Coopers Clear is not like their other beers. It's awful. Do not recommend buying beer in a clear glass bottle that's expired and doesn't taste good fresh anyway.
Coopers clear is the only beer which is not double fermented. All their other beers ferment in the bottle, hence the best after dates.
Thanks mate. I'll avoid like the plague. I pretty much stick to the pale ale anyway.
Can't go wrong with Pale and their new session ale isn't too bad either.
Umm… Expired beer for $36 a carton?
No thanks
